Had so much fun on this project, located in the teen section of the Sterling Heights Public Library! I was asked to design and install a #mural for this spot, but I thought I could use this as an opportunity to give back to my community ;-)
Instead, I volunteered to #design and map out the image on the wall, and the librarians signed up teens as long as they participated in the Summer Reading Program. The Sterling Heights Arts Commission paid for the paint and brushes.
My hopes were to encourage and inspire Sterling Heights teens to explore public art, and pick up a book ;-)
Librarian Kat finished off the center! Didn't they all do a great job?!?
